メリークリスマス

The Japanese like to adopt all the fun/commercial celebratory traditions of American holidays, such as:

This is a Japanese doctor's office covered in lights. The doctors there must be making the big Yen to be able to afford a display like this.

PS A lot of Japanese think we eat a special Christmas cake and fried chicken (KFC) for the holidays. I'm working on fixing that stereotype.

PPS (or is it PSS?) Weather report is calling for snow and that thing called coldness here Friday-Sunday.

Need to buy a kotatsu (wiki link alert!) ASAP and write a blog entry about how much I love it.
